API keys

API keys let your other systems use the Safety Radar REST API. You manage them in Settings → API Keys (under Account). Only admins can create or revoke keys.

  • To create a key, select New API Key, enter a Name that says what it’s for, and select Create. Select Copy to copy the key into your integration’s secret store.
  • To revoke a key, select Revoke on it and confirm. Requests using it stop working straight away.

A key has admin access to your organization’s data through the API and doesn’t expire, so treat it like a password.
