- Status gates for investigations. Admins can now set requirements a case must meet before it enters each status: team roles filled, evidence uploaded, meetings logged, the root cause analysis or risk matrix complete, and more. A case that doesn’t meet them can’t move, and the team sees what’s missing with a link to fix it. See Lifecycle and status gates.
- Download an investigation as a PDF. Download PDF on a case produces an investigation report with the case details, narrative, team, linked events, risk matrix, root cause analysis, meetings and a list of evidence. See Analysis and reviews.
Improved
Section titled “Improved”- Corrective actions have a title. Each corrective action in an investigation now has a short title, with the description optional. Existing corrective actions use their description as the title.
- Complete root causes. A new root cause now needs a description, details and its place on the root-cause map, so every root cause in an analysis is fully recorded.
- Action Taken on event forms. Forms that create events now include Action Taken as a built-in field, so what was done at the scene carries through to the event. Existing event forms have it added automatically.
- Workflows run more reliably, including workflows with nested outputs and large batch runs.
- Safety Center assistant: pressing Enter while the assistant was still replying sent a second message, and the two replies could mix up the conversation. You now wait for the reply to finish; what you typed is kept.
Investigations is an add-on module. If your organization doesn’t have it, the investigation changes above don’t apply to you.
